Rhinos are majestic animals that live on the African plains. Back in 2012, a group of poachers set out to hunt rhinos, take their horns and sell it in the black market. The rangers found two rhinos that were still alive and named them Thandi and Themba. The two rhinos were badly injured. In fact, Wildlife Veterinarian Dr. William Fowlds never thought that the rhinos would not survive their injuries. After 24 days, Themba, the male rhino sadly succumbed to death. But Thandi continued to fight for life and successfully survived. She then began her new journey in life.
